Refunds
The refund rule
Last updated September 2026
One sentence: nothing is paid before you have read your finished site, so there is nothing to refund at that stage, and once you have chosen a price it is refundable in full right up to the moment we hand the files over. The rest of this page is the detail.
There is no refund form, no call and no reason needed. Reply to any email from us, or write to richard@grea.site, and say it is a no. That is the whole process.
1. Seeing your site costs $0
We build the site first and send you a private link. You are not charged for that, so there is no deposit to return and no refund to chase if you decide against it.
- Nothing is taken up front, and no card is asked for at that stage
- You do not have to explain the decision, and you will not be talked out of it
- If you pass, we delete our copy and nothing further happens
- If we decided we could not build something true from your public information, we tell you why and nothing further happens either
2. The three prices
Once you have read the site and chosen a price, the rule changes, because from that point the work is a delivery rather than a sample.
- Before handover: if we have not handed over the files or pushed the site live on your domain yet, you can stop and get a full refund — whether you paid $249, $400 or $500. No reason needed
- After handover: once the files are yours or the site is live on your domain, the work has been done and delivered. That payment is not refundable. What you have is yours to keep, and there is nothing further to pay
- If we got it wrong: if what we delivered is not what we described, tell us. We either fix it or refund it, and you choose which. That is not a favour, it is the deal
3. Hosting, if you stop it partway
Hosting is only ever sold inside a bundle, and a bundle is a discounted block of months rather than a monthly plan. If you stop hosting partway through one, we refund the unused complete months, worked out against the hosting part of what you paid — the bundle price minus the $249 site price.
- On the six-month bundle, the hosting part is $151 across six months. Stop after one month and we refund five sixths of that
- On the twelve-month bundle, the hosting part is $251 across twelve months. Stop after one month and we refund eleven twelfths of that
- Part months are not refunded. The month you are in runs to its end, then hosting stops
- There is no cancellation fee and no minimum term, and you do not have to give a reason
- When hosting stops we send you the files if you do not already have them, and the domain stays yours
After a bundle's prepaid months have run out, hosting continues at $25 a month. That part cancels any time: stop it and the following month is not billed.
4. How the timing actually works
- The refund leaves our side the same day you tell us, usually within a few minutes
- Your bank then takes a few business days to show the credit on your statement. That part is not ours to speed up, and we will say so rather than claim otherwise
- We email you when the refund is issued, with the amount and the reference, so you have it in writing
- If the refund has not appeared after five business days, write to us and we will chase it with Stripe and send you the reference
Refunds go back to the card you paid with. We cannot send a refund to a different card, a bank account, or in cash, because the payment processor will not allow it.
5. What we cannot refund
- A domain registration we bought in the practice's name at your request. The registrar charges for it the moment it is registered and does not refund it. The domain is yours either way, and you can keep it or let it expire
- Third-party fees we have already paid on your behalf at cost, if any were agreed with you in writing first
- Work that has been delivered and accepted, as described in section 2
There is nothing hidden in that list, and there is nothing else. We do not charge a restocking fee, an exit fee, or a fee for asking.
6. How to ask
Email richard@grea.site from the address the practice ordered with, and include the order reference if you have it. If you do not have the reference, the email address is enough, because that is how the order is found. If it is easier, say it in a comment on the private site itself and we will treat it as the same answer.
7. Related pages
What each price includes is on the pricing page. What is and is not promised is in the terms. What we store, which never includes patient information, is on the privacy page. Questions are answered on the questions page. Last updated September 2026.
